HELP with Uploading Video

I need help. TEXGX recorded video of our off-roading trip today on his fancy DVD camcorder (records in 5.1 surround sound & DVD quality video). He recorded it on DVD+RW disc. How can i copy this video over to my computer harddrive...so that i can then upload it to Google video????

I am totally clueless when it comes to anything more complex than checking my email.

There are a few steps involved but its pretty easy to use.... and a bargain at $35

if you have a Mac, use "Handbrake" to rip it off to convert into avi or ogm or mp4. that you can upload to Gvideo. or MacTheRipper
