Hey. I've had my 2010 SR5 for 18 months and am due for my 30k mile service. I had free service up to 25k and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good garage for 4-Runners in the Baltimore City/Baltimore County area? Bill Kidd's is attempting to overcharge me I think. I have used Brooks-Huff before with good results but wanted to reach out here as well. Thanks!

Can't suggest a garage but I'm in Baltimore city/county area as well so I'm interested to see any suggestions. I still have 24k miles to go on my 25k maintenance package though.

What does the 30,000 mile service consist of, and what price did they quote you?

I'm sure a 30,000 mile service is a rip off, especially at a dealer. just change the oil, oil filter and air filter.

I would like to see what the dealer says is required for this service. I agree with the oil change and air filter, but I would also change the cabin filter, check the brake pads, trans. fluid change and change out all of the drive train fluids(F/R diff. and transfer case). I will do this myself in the spring, none of it is to hard to do. I bet the dealer would charge a fortune for this.

2 year 30,000 mile service

Just do what the warranty manual states. At two years, 30,000 miles it is still a new truck and all of the above service is overkill and a waste of money.

I tow a camper and see a lot of steep mountain pulls with it, so I don`t think it`s overkill. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time, and doing the proper maintenance gives me peace of mind. If I was going to trade it in at 60,000 or 70,000 miles I would just do the minium service that is required.
