hi guys! im new here, a few questions

i just stumbled onto this site and it seems real cool

i have a 97 4runner SR5 and im intrested in making it look nice like some of them i have seen on here, but i have a couple of questions..

how do i go about getting the fender flares ? do i have go through the dealer or is there somewhere else that sells them.

the hood that comes on the limited models, how do i go about getting that too and will i have to change out the grill to get it to fit. i already plan on upgrading the current headlight and taillights to the clear crystal ones.

If you want 4runner-specific fenders, then you need to look at Toyota dealers. Look at this thread for a listing of them:

The front grill and hood are SEPARATE. That is, the grill is not attached to the hood. However, why would you want the Limited's hood?? Do you have a Sport hood now (with the scoop)??

oh i meant the hood with scoop is the one i want. ill check that link for a dealer.

You can buy fender flares that are not from Toyota. One company is called Bushwhacker. Here is something on Bushwhacker.

I do not have flares so my knowlege is limited.

Don't know which brands they carry though.
