Hi Lift Mount and Yakima Rack

Anyone mount a hi lift mount on a yakima rack in the rack itself so its flat? If so what hardware did you use? I ask as the setup that Yakima has is great but between my 3inch lift and 285's my truck does not fit in the garage with the jack on the side.

Don't bother. It will be annoying loud over bumps.

I have mine mounted flat in the basket with two u-bolts with wing nuts. I have the jack sitting on two pieces of rubber flooring with the u bolts through the rubber to keep everything in place. It doesn"t move or rattle. Hope this and pics help.
