Hi-Lift on Gobi Stealth Rack - Which side do you have up?

I just took the base off and put it in a drawer so that would not rattle or get stolen.

It's not the base... (or at least not just the base). It's the carrier rattling on the the lift beam. Going to make a shim this weekend per the link I posted above from the FJ Cruiser forum. If that works I like that option best since it's reusable unlike a zip tie... but the zip tie will be plan B. :clap2:

Can you post a quick shot of how you are laying this thing under the rear seats (and what parts may be detached (e.g., base plate))? TIA.

Sure, give me the weekend and I'll post an image. For the meantime I just detach the base, lift the bottom seats up, place the jack evenly as possible on the both sides from the rear doors and let it rest snug to the bottom feet of the seats, close the seats back and voila! The downside is when your jack get muddy your carpet is going to. It doesn't move or rattle
