HID Kit Advice

HID

Thanks!!Those HID are freakin nice dude, I plan to put it in my 08 Accord coupe when I have the time and $ Does it have like a blue tint to it? The pictures came out pretty white.

riceandpho, I just got the 2 kits and am going to install when there is a break in the whether, where did you mount your ballasts?

Also in your pictures why does it look like your headlights only light up a 6 inch strip? The low beams should project even light on the ground and have a clean cut off line. I dont know if its just the pictures or what. Let me know if there are any adjustments you made to the projectors to dial them in. Thanks.

what do u mean a six inch strip?, is it the ones that i took wen in the car?, the 2000k in the fogs gives alot of yellow, so its hard to see the white. u should put yellow in the fogs kuss u have better visability in rain/ snow.

also i mount the ballast for the lows by screwing them to the fender on each side, the fogs however, i ran the wires up behind the headlight and ziptied the ballast to the high beam wire harness on the split loom.

Riceandpho, I got the retro solutions kit and just installed. The low beams work perfectly and look great. However I cant get the foglamps to work at all. Did you run into this problem at all? Any suggestions? I need help asap.

is the connectors to big? if so, contact todd at the website, and hell send u the correct one, also if u had the right one, check ur wires, make sure it wasnt reversed wen u plug in the fog light plug, happen to me lol, but yea. i did get those 1/4inch plugs wit the 2000k kit , he forgot to check since the manufacture put those instead of the ones like the h11.

The 9006 kit has a plug, the h11 kit just has the direct wires. I had to plug in the plug backwards, the kit has a blue and black wire and the stock harness has a white and red wire. I put it in backwards so the black wire would go with the white wire and the blue wire goes with the red one. The plug seems to fit well when its backwards, but doesnt fit well at all when its plugged in the right way. The way I figured its backwards is on the stock harness there is a female clip and on the hid kit plug there is a male clip. I will play with it more today and ask him to send new bulbs if I cant get it to work.

P.S. read this write up by lawwailok, I did it hand my cut off line is just as clean as oem hids.

Did you mean he sent you new bulbs with wire connectors like on the h11 or he just never checked to see if the wires were switched on the plug? If you did have the same problem, what was the solution?

i was talking about the pins that it comes with to plug to the stock plug, u did try to see if the fogs work by plugin the one for the headlight to it right?, kuss wen i didnt noe the wires were reversed on the fogs it didnt work, juss make sure the power goes to the power and the ground goes to the ground, its in the manual. i didnt need him to send me anything kuss i got everything working.

Got it fixed today, thanks for the help. The connection just isnt very good. I just pushed them together really hard and it worked. I will post some pics of everything after my screen is installed next week.
