HID kit help (DDM)

I just thought of something after unlocking my 4runner. Do y'alls lights flick on and off when you lock and unlock it?

Or maybe it's just the side lights and tail lights that blink.

Mine do. The corner makers, breaks, and license plate lights. Once for LOCK, twice for UNLOCK. :D

Just got my kit today. I ordered the H4 35W 5000K Low beam only. It didn't come with any kind of wiring to get hooked into the battery I'm assuming I don't need it because they are low beam only!?!? Looks like it's just plug and play with a blue and black wire that hook into the OEM wires that would normally plug into the halogen bulb. Can anyone confirm this? Which wires do the blue and black wires hook into?

Sorry but it didn't come with any kind of wiring diagram. I'll post pics if needed if it will help. Thanks in advance!

Yep. As far as I know that's where you plug them into. I don't know what the bottom hole of the connector is for. I'm assuming it's a ground.

I got my kit today too, a day ahead of schedule. I'm not sure if I will install or wait till after Christmas. They might be a gift from my parents or grandparents. I can't believe how small the ballast is. It is even smaller than 55 watt slim ballast.

I was looking at the shield that comes with the kit and I think I might try to cover a little bit of the opening on the bottom. I think light might escape from that hole when the high beams are not engaged.

ok well got mine to turn on have to wrangle the wiring but am i supposed to take out the hexagonal thing in front of the bulb, the bulb has a shield to aim the light up? plz help me...
