HID upgrade, which one to go with?

I'm looking at swapping out the phillips 4300k bulb on my Xenon Depot XD HID kit to 5000k.

What comes included with the replacement bulb and what is involved with the install? Do I just swap out the bulb or does it come with replacement cables as well?

Is the rubber grommet the same size for each of these kits?

[MENTION=90192]2chains[/MENTION] - The grommets are a little different between the bulbs -- the ones on the Philips bulbs are slightly larger. You will get a new grommet and wiring when purchasing replacement H11 HID bulbs.

Hey 2chains, I ordered the kit from Steve, and it was an absolute breeze to install. Literally a 10 minute job. Customer service was top notch, and I'd order in a heartbeat again from xenondepot.

Installed everything Saturday night and I am kicking myself for owning this 4Runner for 3+ years and not doing this sooner! Great Product and even better customer support. Has anyone added a second set of projectors to their headlights? I really want hid high and low beams.

I retrofitted Lexus IS350 Bi-Xenons with a clear lens upgrade into my 2016 with OSRAM Nightbreakers, Morimoto 35W ballasts and Diode Dynamics HD Halos.

As [MENTION=51186]philsey[/MENTION] mentions, it was expensive but as a headlight snob it was totally worth it

I went with the Xenon Depot xtreme in 5000k. Wanted a whiter light and be able to match other lights easier. The fogs I went with the Phillips Extreme Vision LEDs from Amazon. With Prime I received them next day!

For the DRL/Hi Beams I used the DDM tuning saber LED KIT. They give off a slight hyper flash but don't mind it much. They look much better than the yellow DRL and super bright when used as hi beams. Sorry for the crap photos, need to take some night shots.

H11s from XenonDepot. They were VERY helpful with all my questions prior to install. It was a breeze. Few pics below.

Used a 1" spade drill bit to hone out the hole required for the wiring to pass through the access cover to the light housing. Smoothed the round edge with a round wood file. Allowed the rubber grommet fit super snug.

To help with aiming after the install, used painter's tape to mark where the old lights hit the wall in our garage, marked the floor to ensure truck would be in the same spot.

Pulled the battery completely out to allow for easy access to driver's side.

Difference on the road is night and day.

Of note, my 4Runner does not have the 8mm nut at the rear of the light housing to adjust beam height. Rather, it has a "gator tooth" style system that accepts a phillips head screw driver to adjust the height located on top of the housing. Small hole for access though the plastic cover between the radiator and bumper.
