HIDs in a 2006+ Sport

So I just sold my 02 Explorer and upgraded to a 06 4Runner Sport. I had a 6000k HID kit (9006 Bulb) on my Explorer, which I was hoping would work on the low beams on the Runner.

Here's what I got:
(V-HIDS 35W SLIM BALLAST XENON HEADLIGHT KIT 9006 6000K BLUE TINT)

Question 1: Although I can't use them on the low beams, since they are H11's, I am considering putting them into my fogs. With that said, I am wondering if any of you think that 6000ks would be too much for the fogs?? Anyone have pics?

Question 2: I have read through many threads about replacing the H11 Halogen Low beams with an H11 HID kit in an 06+ 4Runner, and am still confused on the differences between projectors/no projectors, and whether or not putting an H11 HID kit into the stock light without any modification is going to cause glare, spread out light, blinding other drivers, etc. I read one thread that said they are projectors, and one thread that said they're not, and one that says a straight swap will work, and others that contradict. Basically: is there an HID kit that I can put in my stock low beam H11 lamps that will look good, and match up with the 6000k 9006 HIDs I plan on putting in the fogs?

not sure about the projectors, most have found with the squirrel finder mod they work just fine.

as far as the fogs go, most report that there will be issues with glare. a friend put 4300k HID bulbs into the factory fog lights on his T4R, and they are pretty blinding to oncoming traffic. they light up pretty much everything in front of him (road, signs, trees) and antagonize oncoming traffic. probably would advise against it unless you like getting flashed by oncoming traffic.

The color depth varies depending on which company you buy from, I would advise just buying the same kit in the h11 from the company your 9006's are from. I have a gothidxenon 10k kit, never had any issues, love them!

I did not do the squirrel finder mod and I have not had anyone flash me.

I have had 6000k HIDs in both my low beams and fogs for over 6 months at least and I have never been flashed by anyone.

no.. and nope.. but i do turn off the fogs if a CHP cruiser passes me on the freeway... ..

I just ordered the 10k kit off of gothidzenon.com we will see how they look. This will be my second HID kit, I am assuming the first one was just cheap and it kept blowing my fuses in the car.

No, I just got low beam for now, to see how good they actually are because of my problems with the first kit. I have a Shrockworks bumper coming in otherwise I would have ordered the fog light kit too. I will post pics as soon as I can, might not be here till Monday or Tuesday of next week though.
