For lubricating the drive shaft, this thread:

recommends Mobilgrease XHP 322 Mine for lubricating the slip yoke, and Lucas Oil Red 'N' Tacky #2 (which I gather is sometimes sold without the "#2" on the product label) for the spider joints.
My understanding is that Mobilgrease XHP 322 Mine is preferred in the slip yoke because it has higher molybdenum disulfide than the Red 'N' Tacky.
Is there any disadvantage to using the XHP 322 in the spider joints as well? The Mobil product data sheet says it is good for "general purpose chassis lube":
