High pitched vibration chirping on 2016 TEP

Have about 1400 miles on my 2016 TEP and the engine has started producing a high pitched, vibration sort of chirping sound. Seems to be coming more from the passenger side of the engine bay. Only happens after a good long drive and while the vehicle is in gear (reverse or drive). Doesn't do it in park. Any ideas? I've been reading through other threads using search but, nothing seems to match.

I had a funny squealing sound in my old Nissan PU. Only when driving. Turned out to be the bearing in the alternator.

There is a black splash guard behind your front tires and suspension. It blocks stuff from flying into the engine bay. It is a known cause of squeaks on the 4Runner and where mine is coming from. Give it a wiggle and see if this may be causing your issue.

It's definitely not splash guard / wheel well related. A little more detective work has found the noise is definitely in the engine bay and presents when the brake pedal is near or fully depressed.
