thanks for the responses guys! Mu buddy and I are toying with the idea of buying a bunch of the snorkels, and selling them as a bundle with a corrected template, typed instructions, and all the extras needed for this. would anyone be interested?

I probably would be, now right away, of course. As long as you weren't charging a ton, I would rather someone who's done it before do it, instead of me doing it myself.

This is a sweet write-up. One question about the cuts you made: Did you put anything on the exposed metal in order to prevent rust or anything? I'm thinking that dremeling it all smooth and adding a little bit of rustoleum or something to protect it.

I think people interested in snorkels will definitely be interested in this for price based reasons. Especially with ARB finally coming out with one that'll run you around $400. I would love to pull the trigger on one of your kits now but need a new engine first haha

So how much did yall offer?? Another words...how much did you actually end up paying for your snorkels? The reason I ask...the one time I bid on a "make offer"...I ended up getting the item for $1.02 less than it was advertised for. And that took 4-6 emails back and forth over a couple of days!! What a joke and big waste of time!! Hopefully yall faired better than I did...lol!!!

I saved $5, so $125. Yeah, the "best offer" option on ebay doesn't save you very much. I think it's a good way for the seller to hook you, since once you make the offer, you've already decided to buy.
