Hit 50K and still going strong....

Hit 50K on the clock last week while towing a 6' x 12' UHaul trailer from Northern Florida to the Fort Lauderdale area. Didn't even notice it there during the 8hour ride, had no problem hitting 75mph.
The only thing I did notice was the terrible gas mileage.....I was getting between 10.7 - 12.3 mpg, according to the computer. That killed me!

hahah, I guess it would be compared to a grandpa hearing his grandson say "I'm so old now, I just turned 13".......meanwhile grandpa is just shaking his head.

Nice, am sitting at 49K also in my 2005 runner (V6). Just bought it like a month ago, and after reading lots of threads here about reliability and performance, man I feel lucky and happy with my decision!

Congrats on the milestone!! That's pretty low for an 05 (I'm at 80k on my 08 and I only drive it on weekends/winter time). What's sad is that my v6 averages around 12mpg on a normal basis.

OUCH, I just cringed after reading your V6 mileage, no fun at the pump. You got more on the clock than I do, especially for just driving on the weekends and for trips! Maybe it's all the "slipping" in the mud/rocks that adds to the mileage :girl:

Thankfully, it's not all tire spinning. I usually drive approx 8,000 - 10,000 miles per winter for snowboarding each season.

Then you add winter gas, mountain driving and added weight (recovery gear, survival gear, bigger tires, armor, 3 additional passenger, etc)...it all contributes to my awesome gas mileage.

I also have a 2005 V6 SE and mine is at 116K. Bought it with 114k on the odo.

Like others have mentioned on other threads, hoping to drive it till 300K miles.
