correct me if I'm wrong, but the way you mounted the drawer slides for the fridge is not oriented the way they are supposed to be. Those heavy duty slides are meant to be side mounted. Undermount (or bottom mounted) drawer slides are built different and usually not as strong. The max undermount slides I've seen were rated for 120lbs.


If those are indeed undermount 500 lbs slides please let me know where you found them. I have been doing some research lately trying to find undermounts that are strong enough but have been unable to do so.

EDIT: in the earlier pics it looked like it was mounted wrong. Now you used side mounts. Either way I'm still interested.

I'm going to be honest, I read through your thread again haha! I'm amazed because you have the exact front bumper, rear bumper, tires, and roof rack! Lol. Now I have a few more questions I hope you don't mind.

The switch from steel to aluminum in the front. Any worries about how strong the aluminum is, especially at recovery points where there is a lot of force? If you hit a tree with the steel, it probably wouldn't matter but what about with the aluminum. Would it dent?

Fluid film!! I just bought some but been hesitant to use it. Do you spray everything underneath or what do you avoid? Does it make it messy and slippery to work on? Would it hurt paint? The bottle says it may soften a vehicles undercoating, what are your thoughts on that?

Last question...for now lol. What's your Instagram??

Im trying to construct a bumper that mirrors a 2004 limited 4runner with the rear fog lights integrated in the bumper. What do you think about that? or do they sell such a pretty beast like that??

Fluid film atomizes so you might want to wear a protective suit and a mask (I wear coveralls and safety glasses). I spray with the small hose inside the frame rails and regular nozzle all over everything under. It doesn't hurt anything, it can get on your windows and paint but that's easy to wash off.

Bumper looks good bud! I like those lights in the sides, do you have them patched in to your reverse lights? I'm probably going to add them to mine and have them connected to my reverse but also run to a separate switch as well!

Bummed we didn't get to catch up with you guys up in VT! You have any other trips planned before it starts to snow:smow:
