Hood Scoop???

Hahahaha... the hoodscoop is the best thing about the Sport Edition 4Runner (the wheels are a close second). I love the way it looks from behind the wheel.

I know there are a few hoodscoop haters, but more than 9 out of 10 people love the look of the 'scoop, whether it's fake or not!

functional or not, i think the hood scoop is cool looking. when i first saw the 2004 4runner at the dealer when i was looking for a new ride, i saw my black sport V8. the scoop was one of the reasons i like the sport ed over the limited. i have everything the limited has except for the nav. leather, sunroof, and jbl sythesis indash cd changer. i wished the stereo system had a little more power though.

The hood scoop is strictly for looks with the gas engines. Opening it up would do nothing but make a mess under the hood. I personally think it looks great even if it is not functional.
