Housing to route wire along windshield edge???

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a product that would allow me to route a couple of wires from the roof into the bay. Specifically, I want to run it along the sides of the windshield. More specifically, I'm looking for an product made for exterior use, with an adhesive back, that I can run the wires through and just stick to the edges. Maybe something like this is out there?

shrink wrap wires and lay very thin double sided tape pushed down the side of windshield....thats how people have been doing it for a very long time.

i put all my roof lights into a wire protector, wrapped that up in black electrical tape and ran it down the windshield into the engine bay. i used hot glue to stick it to the black plastic trim on the side of the windshield. no problems yet and it sticks well

I wouldn't overthink it. Just electric tape or shrink wrap and tuck it in.

The channel would just give it a cleaner look. A guy I talked to about this suggested hitting up a audio installation shop as they may have a solution that is cleaner. Having said that, I probably will end up just "tucking it in" that groove. The hot glue might be the way I'll go -- easy to remove when it came to it. I appreciate the suggestions. I'm not sure if they make any rated for outdoor use, but surely there is something. Hit up the local electronics repair shop, they should be able to order something that will work.
