Houston, Bryan, Austin Wheeling?

Hey Guys,

I'm on the look out for a well taken care of 3rd Gen. 2 Wheel drive. If you hear of anything in the area please let me know. I live in College Station. I don't mind going to Dallas, Austin, SA, or Houston for the right vehicle...

I'm just a 2WD guy, but might be interested in tagging along sometime at BVORR just for fun.

Thanks,
Clint

Grapevine now.

Where are there trails in the DFW area?

Most people in DFW go to either the Bridgeport OHV Park in Bridgeport, or the Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area in Gilmer. Bridgeport is good for a day run on the weekend, and Gilmer, which is about two hours east of Dallas is good for a weekend trip as it has camping spots and RV hookups, whereas Bridgeport does not. Check out DFW Chapter of TX4WD. This is the web-site for the off-road group that I belong to in the DFW area.

Sam, thanks a mill for the advice. What locker did you put in your 2WD? I've seen some priced between $400-$800, but am not at all familiar with what type I should be looking for. And I love my T4R, so if I decide to keep mine, I want to consider putting in the exrta funds for upgrades.

I just put in a LockRight, 250$..done. It's in my build page somewhere.

Oh this is funny, I just joined the Bryan TX chapter of TX4WD.. Some of my friends are thinking about Bridgeport, but the lack of camping and no Drinking might scare us away.. :lmao:
