Ok so this is bothering me. It's been feet weeks since new lift was installed.

Front :
Tundra 5100 2nd perch
Eibachs

Rear:
Bilstein 5100 long travel
Superflex

*on toytec it says that the superflex should provide a 3.75" of lift at zero weight, 3.25" at 200lbs and 3" at 400lbs. I have no bumper, no weight. Besides a 3/16 skid plate in my trunk ready to get installed which is about 40-60 pounds. Now I keep looking at my truck and I don't know if it's my eyes of what but it doesn't look like there is enough rake. As if the truck is almost level. I just went to a ride to a parking lot that is almost flat level ground measured everything 5 times if not more. My measurements were :
Front left = 24"
Front right = 24"
Rear right = 24.5"
Rear left = 24"?

I double checked the part numbers of superflex and the part number ending in CL is on left side and CR is on right side. Theoretically, setting tundra 5100 on 2 perch should give me 3" + -...... There for the back should be higher by almost 3/4 roughly + -....
My measurements can be 1/16 to 1/8 of probably.

I don't understand how the rear left side is basically level with front ? Am I doing something wrong? Is something installed not right ?

With Tundra front coils if you install the L & R on wrong side it will do that. It's even visible from the rear.

They are toytec eibach coils though. It's making me.mad, I don't know why the truck is sitting like that. Im pretty sure it should be level as in left to right and have some decent rake.

The eibach coils will settle a bit. That'll bring the front down a bit.

Your numbers sound right for the rear though. Although the front seems high to me. Your pulling 4" of lift out of it at the moment. Pics of the front components?

Some people run trim spacers do help with the extra weight on the driver side from the gas tank.

Do the rear shocks really only have that little amount of up travel? This is the second set of pics I've seen where I felt like there wasn't enough up travel to be had. Seems like the shock would bottom before the wheel stuffs, unless it's an optical illusion.

But the toytec superflex has one coil that is slightly taller then the other to eliminate the need of the spacer, the so called driver side lean. Even says on the toytec website in the description.


I feel the same.way, that the shocks should be stretched more, looks very compressed doesn't it ? Ss extended bumps stops should be helping from.completely bottom out.

Anyone have any ideas of what is going on. Something is wrong.

It's just the way it looks. The boot get compressed down on the shock, and can be slid back up. The up travel on the shock only needs to be long enough to allow you to contact the bump stop. Anything longer then that is a waste. If you have 2" between your axle and bump stop. You only need to have about 2-1/2" of up travel in the shock. Anything more then that will limit the amount of down travel you get.

In this picture you can see there is around a 2" gap between the axle and bump stop. The shocks look like they have around 3" of up travel left in them. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Ok so shocks are suppose to look like that ? Don't you loose flex when the truck would be flexed to one side ? As in the wheel would only tuck in so far?. What about why it would be leaning and back right side sitting level with front ? I can't imagine putting 200-400,lbs and how ugly it would sag. Theoretically with 400lbs it should be level, as toytec says with 400lbs it sits at 3"

You wheel is only going to travel up as far as your bump stop allows. The only way it could be leaning to one is if the springs are on the wrong side, or one side is prematurely sagging. What did you do about the panhard bar in the rear? Another thing could be the springs were stamped incorrectly. I also wouldn't trust the weight loads that Toytec puts on springs. I know a couple people running superflex that only have 200lbs and get 3" of lift.

Switch them around and see what happens. If it doesn't change then add a trim spacer to that side.

My suggestion.. OME 2861 better known as 861s. They sit great for me, ride great, have not sagged with 2 kids in the back seat, two dogs in the back and all my tools etc back there. They don't get their Lean on like your new Superflex Coils are apparently.. I know its just my opinion and my experience with them, but I really really like my 861s. Rear lift and flex is the bomb. Superflex coils are great from what I've heard too, but no experience on them for me..

Man it's a pain in the Ass to switch them around haha. I'm gonna.call toytec and talk to them. Because this is kinda annoying. And they ain't cheap.
