good to know on this. i have a 92 4runner and putting 33x10.50 swampers on it. knowing it will fit with out lift and little mods make me feel better.

Hello, sorry to bring this up but will 265 70 17 tires and rims fit my stock 91 runner?

I had this size on a 91 pickup with grabber at2s and fj steelies, worked well, rubbed the mudflap but never enough to bother me.

As for the 33x10.5 OP, I ran that size on BJ spacers, stock rims and the torsion fully dropped then just a touch put back on it. No mudflaps and never rubbed the body or stock bumper (just the inner fender plastic on the cab side that took very minor trimming) However, I did notice some rub marks on the inner tires from running lower PSI where contact was made at some point with the upper A-arm. Solved with 1/4" slip over wheel spacers.

I have a set of 33x10.50 BFG AT2 tires on stock wheels and suspension on mine. No rubbing at all, but I think this also has to do with how much your suspension is sagging. As far as I know my torsion bars are not cranked. That being said I have yet to compress the suspension enough to see if it tucks properly.

Did you regear to match the 33s? I have almost the exact same runner as you (blue decals) and am also looking into 33" KO2s on the stock SR5 wheels.

I've had those exact tires on my '94 for about the past 6 years, and they work fine. Stock suspension, no rubbing. I didn't regear, and haven't noticed all that much difference in performance. It was anemic before, still is

I have 33x10.5s on stock rims. 4:56 gears and a 5 speed. I have never felt like I needed to re-gear.

Since the 3.0s are so anemic I wanted a light weight tire. My current Dick Cepeks are 2 lbs lighter than a K02 and 7 lbs lighter that a KM3(according to tire rack). I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but I really think it makes a difference.
