How can I replace this bulb?

Mr. Tom, thanks for pointing that out.
I was wondering as well, maybe each control contains LED's and the whole control is a part number by itself?

That would be my best guess. Anyone know for sure?

It actually is quite a cool setup.

Here we go. This shows the center control on a Limited dual A/C control. The back shows 2 bulbs that light up the Temp and Pass Temp button. When the unit is taken apart there are 3 leds inside to light up the Auto, Dual and
A/C stack.

If you notice the "Fan OFF "is also lit up.
Here is one for the Dash and show how to light up the Fan OFF (30 pages but some good info).

My buddy and I have the same issue with the light, mine happened right after I got out of his truck and into mine, a disease I tell ya... probably the reason why my MPGs have been sucking all this time, defective lights in the 4R!

I just replaced all the bulbs in my Climate Control Display (backlights), behind the Fan Control knobs and in some of the buttons (DAC, etc).

Here's the parts numbers ive been able to collect:

Small Pink-ish Bulb (from inside buttons like the DAC button) = 90010-01088
Long Green Bulb (from inside the Fan Control Clusters) = 90010-09019
Short Clear Bulb (that backlight the Climate Control Display) = 90010-09017

So, in a regulard SR5, does this mean that the controls themselves do NOT light up? Just the indicator lights? Its driving me crazy and I cant find an answer on it after a week of searching... Thanks so much!!!

The post by Carl G shows only the a single "A" bulb for the each of the HVAC controls. That would appear to be the back lighting for each control. This would suggest that there are more bulbs in each control unit to light up the arrow various indicators.
Is this correct?

..
The arrow indicator bulbs are soldered to the board. They can be replaced if you know how.

All the controls are backlit when the headlights are turned on.

Okay thanks Techno! Any idea which specific bulb is for the control backlighting? It doesn't seem like the 3 bulbs that are mounted behind the controls do it as I replaced all those...

Yes, the bulbs labeled 'A' are the backlighting ones. I just replaced one on mine and now I can see the temp buttons at night. They do not provide any noticeable light during the day.
