How did you guys run all your wires through the Firewall into the 4Runner?

I ran 2 - 4 gauge wires through it....
On the driverside, under the hood you will find a large stream of wires going into the fire wall through a rubber cap with a hole in it.
This rubber cap has about a 4-6 inch space in middle for the fire wall, this means that once you put the wire through the hole (it will strecth) on the engine bay side, you will then have to go inside cab and pull the wire through the second part of the rubber cap (because it's stuck in the middle)
I found that pulling it through was the hardest part and you must have a pretty stiff wire to do this. I'm sure you can do it with smaller gauge wire but i think it would be harder.
Wiring the wires this way will not damage anything on your vehicle (once again stretch the hole, do NOT cut it it will fit 2 or 3 - 2 or maybe even 0 gauge wires through there!) and on top of it it still keeps your cab water tight like it was meant to be

I would suggest using a wire coat hanger wire, I used this with some vaseline as lube for it to glide through. Get the wire through and use it to then fish a string through, and then tie your wires to the string to pull them through. (i lubed the string and wire, it made life easier.) good luck!

Recently bought an 03, v6 for daughter. So. Cal. so it is very good shape.
Used your pic to help install a kill switch.
On mine I just cut a little slit in the grommet on the drivers side and stuck the wire thru. Its super snug so I never worried about water...and its never been a problem for the last 3 years.
