I would just add a spacer or get some better springs up front. With the stock setup, the springs will sooner or later become weaker, and the issues you have will be worse I think. I would check out the Eibach springs Toytec has, will raise the front 1.6". The rear of the 4runner's is usually around 2" so the front should still be a little lower. After a while the springs will start to sag I'm sure and the amount of lift will be less then 1.6". Just call up Toytec or Wheelersoffroad and see what they can offer you.

I went with the Bilstein 5100's... They certainly helped the dive, but didnt get rid of it.
It doesnt sound like you want to go through the trouble of installing new suspension, but I doubt there is any other way to help the problem.
I'd like to rectify the nose-lifting on acceleration, and nose-diving on braking on my SR5.
What's the best way to do this?
I do not off-road, I do not want to lift, or level, or change tires ... nuttin' but simply fix the stupid hobby-horsing.
Thoughts?
Time it on a quarter... kilometer track?I want my 4r to be faster. I don't wanna have to buy anything, just make it faster. I just want to run high 9's low 10's in the quarter. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

well here is what harper said about the icon suspension
"I finally installed my Icon suspension yesterday .Rides like a dream as I just drove it a couple of hundred miles today.I couldn't imagine it to feel any better.Hard to describe,it just floats thru bumps but is still firm on handling. No more brake dive or front end lifting up when flooring it from a standstill like before."
have asked him if it handles better on road compared to xreas...still awaiting his answer...sounds like it does
Dang Philsey! .......You don't have alot of choices since"I do not off-road, I do not want to lift, or level, or change tires" There is no magic button and there are no suspension gods to pray to that I know of.:roadkill:I'd like to rectify the nose-lifting on acceleration, and nose-diving on braking on my SR5.

new to this ballgame on suspensions. but are all suspensions that expensive as the icon stage 5? Over $4k! come on, who could afford that? Is it really all that compared to xreas? I want more of a sport tuned suspension. any kits out there for 4runner?
