How easy is it to get at the sub in 4th Gen?

I would like to put an aftermarket sub in the back of my new 04 (10 spr JBL). How easy is it to get at the sub to splice in new leads for the new external amp? I see a panel around the sub enclosure, but didn't look close enough to see if it is removable, or if I have to remove the whole right side of the cargo area. I previously had a Mazda Tribute (I hit a deer in december which allowed me to purchase the new 04 4-runner.... thanks Bambi!!!) and I had to remove the whole inside panel to get at the sub. Is this the method that most people use to tap into the speaker leads for a sub, or is there another place, such as under the rear door kick panel that would be easier? If so, is the colored speaker layout in one of the sticky threads correct for the 10 speaker JBL system? Any information on where or how to get at the leads to run an amp for a sub would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

it is removable. all panels in that truck are removable. you will most likely have to take out the seatbelt bolt. just follow along the edge carefully with a panel popper. it will come off. i am doing the same thing in my 04 sport so i will post pics when i get it done.
