My sweet spot for the truck is 78 miles per hour. Just fast enough to stay ahead of the dummies and just slow enough to stay behind the maniacs.
Driving this is a huge change from my Mazda 3 with super sport tires on it. LOL
However I am very surprised at how comfy it is doing 90.
Good place to ask, what's the top speed governor on this thing? I have a 2019.

70 since the speed limit is 55 and that's pretty much keeping up with traffic.

My standard highway speed is 80 mph. In more remote areas with long stretches of open highway, I may cruise at 90 for a while.

The governor is 120mph. When I hit 120mph it felt like it still had more to go if it wasn’t for the governor.

Nope, on my stock Dunlop AT20’s. It was probably more like 115mph instead of 120mph because the speedometer might be off at such a high speed since the Dunlop’s are rated to 112mph.
While haven’t been that fast on my KO2’s but they feel much more stable at normal freeway driving than the Dunlop’s.

Just call me grandpa. I do a LOT of miles and don't need to stress about cops all the time. I set the cruise to about 69 or so in a 65 and just let it roll. Or like 65 in a 55. Maybe that's why I see 21-22 mpg a lot.
Can I drive MUCH faster? Heck yeah. But the couple minutes saved is not worth having to be on edge all the time. When I used to commute every day in the G37 I would set the cruise control to 100mph at 4am on the way in. Different time, different vehicle, different life.

I'm pretty much the same. Driving my 4R is a pleasure, and I have no desire to make it less of one by getting all a$$ed up about speed. I chill in the right or center lane on the freeway, and speed-limitish on other roads. I can drive fast if I want to, just don't want to anymore.

I've hit the governor a few times. I think is 116mph though. At least I think that's what mine is. 120 isn't really much different feeling than 100. It's not a super idea, but is not going to explode. In places like rural eastern Montana it's not really at all like the conditions in more populated areas.
Normally I drive about the speed limit. I think the 4runner cruises most comfortably around 75, but that's dangerous if traffic flow is 85.
