How fast are you comfort driving? Usual highway cruise speed?

5 mph over the limit, which around here is 70.

80mph in my daily commute.

95 to 100 mph on long trips like on I-5 from Northern to Southern California.

Wowsers, what's your fuel mileage on these?

I do 80 in highway driving. Keeps me at a comfortable speed between the slowpokes and maniacs like Hans. Only issue at that speed is the whistle from the vortex generators is near that speed.

Just call me grandpa. I do a LOT of miles and don't need to stress about cops all the time. I set the cruise to about 69 or so in a 65 and just let it roll. Or like 65 in a 55. Maybe that's why I see 21-22 mpg a lot.

Can I drive MUCH faster? Heck yeah. But the couple minutes saved is not worth having to be on edge all the time. When I used to commute every day in the G37 I would set the cruise control to 100mph at 4am on the way in. Different time, different vehicle, different life.

Oh yeah. Slow is good. I love flexing the back window down. Makes the jeep owners jealous.

most of my driving is around town so I probably average 40mph or less..but on the highway, 80-85.

My speed demon days are behind me! Used to do 95 in a GMC Jimmy...that was a recipe for disaster.

I now do speed limit up to +5. Have hit 90 but personally it’s not for me in a Runner. Maybe a 911/corvette.

I rolled an S10 on ice....Leary of rolls nowadays

I have hit the same speed for a very limited time on K02s. Generally however I only drive 70ish. I dont think the truck is stable much beyond that.

Most of the highways I take have a limit of 110 kmph (68.3 mph) so my ideal speed is 130kmph or 80mph. Everybody goes 110-120kmph/68-74mph so I like being a smidge faster.

If I'm by myself and no wife/kids in the car, I don't have an issue going 140-150kmph /87-93mph

I don't have a lot of miles on mine yet but the short answer is whatever it takes to keep up with traffic. About 75mph on interstate.

It's a BIG change from my daily work vehicle, a police package explorer which is a Taurus on stilts.

The T4R is for crawling at the mall or posing on the trail for IG, it's not a svelte aerodynamic sports car with a beastly motor.

I don't want to be "That Guy" who mashes around traffic so I keep it civil and go 5-10mph over just to pace slightly ahead of the flow of traffic.

Same boat. VA sucks. Even over 80 in another state I think VA charges it as a reckless (-6 points). That being said 75-80 cruiseing is my comfort level no matter the vehicle.

Between 75 and 80. Depends on hills and wind. When we were cutting across Montana it was more like 85 to 95 down I-90.

Be sure to slow it down when you get to Wyoming. The speed limit drops you cross the state border. The Wyoming State Trooper that was camped out there was kind enough to give me a warning for 93 in a 75.

I do a decent amount of driving (doing about a total of 35K/year) with the majority of it highway. I'm anywhere between 65 - 85 depending on Greater Philadelphia traffic, specific highway/interstate, traffic, etc. I've been over 90 MPH numerous times on my current Falkens and could feel the Runner leave its comfort zone but never felt that I was close to losing control.

I didn't know that.

Sure is different from when I was a teenager and you could legally drink and drive as long as you weren't 'impaired'.

I got my unrestricted license on the day I turned 16 back in the mid-60s.

I live in the Atlanta area. 80 or so is flow of traffic. 90-95 is passing. I usually run about 80-85. Averaging 35k miles a year.
