How I got my new CBI front bumper for free...

Just thought I would share this story. I have been coveting a new bumper for the runner for quite some time. The other day a lady at the office swings wide into a parking space next to me and smacks my front bumper. I mean a foot wide? Whatever. I still think everyone including the lady who hit me and the security guy are still perplexed why I seemed some happy and care free about the whole thing. It is a thing of beauty though to see the Lord's hand in delivering you the desires of your heart! . The new bumper shipped was $1512 from CBI and the check from State Farm was $1467. Sold.

That of course led to me needing to now buy a winch....and probably some new fogs....and....

That's how I got my rear bumper, life gives you limes, you make a margarita!!!

Here's the before....it'll be a few weeks until I am able to throw up the after. Love all the comments...funny stuff. It may not look as bad but I have some high speed tape holding the fog light in and did some minor fixing until CBI sends the new bumper.

Puncture through the bumper cover, cracked trim piece along front, cracked foglight housing. They also paid for an alignment. All that said to your point....when I was in the Marine Corps we would have called a million dollar wound.
