How limited is the TRD PRO Inferno?

I have seen the TRDP's go for $3000 to $4000 over MSRP from secondhand dealers. I don't think an official Toyota dealership can sell them for more than MSRP. But they have ways around it, called side stickering where they add additional charges like exorbitant destination fees and such. There are not many made and in demand so most dealers have been sticking tight to MSRP. So to make a long story short, I don't think you got screwed at all. What you got is one sweet ride. :dancin:

Used 2015 Toyota 4Runner For Sale Serving Jacksonville - In New Bern - P3219

Toyota dealer in New Bern is selling an inferno with 12k miles and Gobi rack/ladder for 49,998 (list price). Not sure the price is justified....2 months ago I purchased a new MGM TRD pro from them for 1k under MSRP including the 1000 military rebate. I'd be interested to know what they end up selling it for and how long it takes.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread... Just picked up a 2015 Inferno 4R TRDP for my wife. We looked for quite a while before finding one within a decent driving range.

Has anyone ever received a definitive answer on the how many were produced in Inferno (my internet research has come up with nothing certain)?

Ultimately, it doesn't matter too much - we're very happy with the vehicle. I'm just curious.

Also (and I'm ashamed to ask this, but I'm a Tundra guy, not a 4R guy) - does the 2015 TRDP come standard with KDSS?

KDSS is an option on the Trail/Trail premium and/or TRD Offroad variants only.

Thanks Brandon. I didn't *think* it had the KDSS, because it has the whiz-bang Bilstein shocks. Thanks for confirming.

I would still like to know the production numbers. There were only about 8 for sale on the US (via Auto Trader, eBay Motors, and Car Gurus) over the last month....
