How many and what color 5th gens have you seen on the road?

None. Not one here in the Chicago area. Seriously, the only one's I've seen have been online and at the dealership, and I've been looking for them. I'm looking forward to having a very unique car around here when I find the right deal on mine.

Looks like Colorado Springs is the 4Runner 5th gen capital!

I live in a large market (SoCal), drive about 500 miles a week and have only seen 4! I still see lots of 3rd and 4th gens rolling down the freeway.

4R's here in the Springs are high in demand. I wonder why. I guess Colorado Springs is "4R Heaven". There's 2 Toyota dealers and there's less than five 4R's on each lot (4th & 5th gen combined). Sometimes i only see 2 or 3 4R's on their lots.

Apart from our gorgeous new Magnetic Grey Limited? None in Grand Rapids, MI. The dealer said they have only sold 3 since they were released.

As a note, if anyone is interested they seem to be able to get whatever you want in a timely manner and are currently offering a lifetime powertrain warranty That means this beast will be running for the next 20y!

Here in College Station/Bryan TX (near Houston), getting an SR5 4x4 is a royal pain..in fact I have extensively researched this forum and I have yet to see 1 single owner of a salsa red (black interior) SR5 4x4 with the 3rd row option (please note the exact combo).

I put an order back in early January and I am still waiting. Have not not heard anything yet, except for the fact that toyota acknowledged to the dealer that the order was received. I have called my dealer a couple of times and he is anxious to see this combo too! Ours is supposed to be salsa red but I have only seen 1 salsa SR5 on the forum and I am not sure its 4x4 and I am almost certain it does not have the 3rd row seat option

.....any how....by what I have research it really seems to me that that the Salsa reds 4x4 with 3rd row seat have yet to be produced by toyota. period ...and that 4x4 are minly sent to the west coast and the north east..

I hope my reasoning is wrong but the experimental evidence points to my suspicion.

I've seen quite a few here in the Dallas, TX area but the 4runner sells very well here - when I had my 4th gen's it was not unusual for me to see 2 or 3 each time I was at an intersection. I work in an office building with a underground parking garage and counting mine there are now 4 of them in my garage alone - 2 white (mine is one) and 2 black. I've also seen a black trail (the guy waived at me) and at least 5 or 6 others - most popular colors around here are black, gray, and white - my first 2010 was gray (long story) and now i have a white one!

and I bet you that chances are that they are all 4x2s

there are hardly any 4x4s in the gulf state region (for now at least)

am i right???

Found a 4x4 salsa red tan 3rd row sunroof xm..... JTEBU5JR4A5016838 I know its doesn't have the black interior but thought you might be getting desperate. Not sure if you want leather but GST can easily add it for you.

I live in Northeast L.A. County, and have only seen two 5th. gens, both were Magnetic Grey SR5s. Keep in mind, that my daily commute is 70 miles (roundtrip).

Good question - I am not sure. Mine is 4x4.

On Friday there was another new one in my parking garage bringing the total to 5 counting mine (4 are white and 1 black) - I'll try to look at them and see what they have.

When i was leaving on Friday I was happy to see that 2 of them were backed in to their spot next to mine -- I'm sure they don't want door dings like me and figure other new 4R owners would be careful around their cars!!

My local dealer has had the same white Limited on his lot for 2 months now. I go by there regularly every day and have not seen any others delivered on order. I'm driving up and down the 401 in the Toronto area every day and have yet to see a 5th Gen in the wild.

I think new 4R sales in Canada have tanked totally :sobbing:. When the dealers that have them have to resort to listing them on Auto-Trader you know something is wrong with sales.

In the Scottsdale area, I've only seen two. Two silver SR5s, one of which looked like a rental vehicle (based on the lic plate and tags).

Just saw my first and only one the other week on Hwy 270. It was a black SR5, I pointed it out to the wife, she wasnt nearly as excited/interested as I was.

In Phila, PA; I saw a grey and a silver which were both SR5's in the past two weeks. 4Runners a popular here but dealers don't have enough in stock.
