How many and what color 5th gens have you seen on the road?

update: at ft campbell i've now seen a twin blue limited like mine, a couple of black limiteds, a couple of silver limiteds, 1 gray mag sr5, and a couple of silver sr5s....and i think one blizzard pearl limited.

they are starting to become way more popular around here.

I would say in the last month I have seen a huge increase in the number of new 4R's driving around. I am in a 'vacation destination' so our population explodes during the summer, one of the main reasons for the increase. I will say I see a LOT more SR5's than any other, next would be the TE, and a couple LE. I did see a red SR5 the other day, was very impressed with the color, almost makes me wonder if I should have held out , although with the red I would have wanted the tan interior, and for me that would not work (would get too dirty). Have yet to see a shoreline blue though, that would complete the spectrum.

Now that I finally have one, I've been seeing more and more on the roads. I see about 2-3 black or white limiteds daily, might be the same ones lol. Haven't seen any SR5s, last time I checked, Im the only black on black SR5 4x4 in Missouri!

Just got back from a 4000 mile trip around the Southwest, only saw ten 5th Gens. 4 in the last 400 miles between Las Vegas and Monterey, CA.

Black, Hwy 50, West of Lake Tahoe, CA
Silver, I80, East of SLC, Utah
Black, Near Durango, CO
White, I10 East of Deming, NM
Silver, Sierra Vista, AZ
Silver, Tucson, AZ
2 White, Black, Silver Hwy 58 between Vegas and Monterey.

PS I did see 7 TEs on the lot of Mark Miller Toyota in Salt Lake City (Including a Red one)

I've only had my TE for a few days now, but I've only seen a few out on the road... everyone at the dealership said that my red TE was the first red they had seen.

1 shoreline blue TE (Shinju's... he was at the dealership the day I bought the 4runner)

Finally saw a Trail Edition rolling down the road. It was graphite gray and looking pretty good.

I have yet to see a red one of any version is the Philly area, except mine. But I have seen maybe 10 - 15 other 5th gens in this area since I got mine in April.

Was out wheeling today at cleghorn and saw this stock 5th gen. Wonder if it is anyone on the forums.

Newb owner here, primarily a sport biker -sports car owner. Trail looks fun, I googled it and it seems there are 2 trails a difficult one and another for Nancy boys. Have you driven both? Does the easy one have decent views and is a mid week run better so my slow a$$ driving won't hold up anybody else. Will be taking my 2 sons ages 11 & 9 with me in the TE.

1) Saw my 2nd Salsa Red last week - I think they were NY plates, probably on vacation for the long weekend. (stock)

2) A MG TE passed me the opposite direction in the early AM a few days ago - Lifted, Baja type rack, upgraded tires, etc! 1st one I have seen (in person) with mods to it.

Theres a salsa red sr5 at work, a shorline blue pearl ltd at school, and Ive seen a BP in the next city over. However they are all bone stock, none look like mine which is totally fine.

I've seen quite a few SR5s and Ltds around Houston. The only other TE I've seen is silver although I'm sure there are more lurking around...

Still don't see many 5th gens in the T.O. area. They are as rare as hens teeth. My local dealer hasn't had a 4R on his lot for ages, on the other hand he has 3 of those Sequoia boats on his lot. Go figure.

5th Gens are still very rare here in San Diego...

I just saw a black one last night, and it was the first black I've seen on the road.

So far I've seen about 6 over the past year here in SD and none were trails.
Just a couple white, silver and gray, then finally a black one last night. Still waiting to see the Shoreline blue and Salsa red on the road.
