What I have been told is that the TE's are rare. Dealers don't want to deal because of this.
Does anyone know how many TE's are made in a year?
One dealer told me they make up about 1% of the T4R production.

Well, on cars.com dealer inventory, set to any distance, 2012 4runners:
Total: 6217
Trail: 160
Limited: 1501
SR5: 3395
Base or unknown: 1161
It also seems to depend a LOT on where you are. For example, I hear that Colorado is full of Trail Editions, but within 500 miles of Atlanta, there are less than 2 dozen.
well in the gulf coast region of Toyota including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and i think Florida there were 3 TE including mine so yeah there pretty rare
^^^^^^ Gotta laugh at the last sentence "Low Rider on a 4 Runner" LMMFAO" That's like putting glitter on dog S**t and calling it Bling:lmao:I live in Mississippi and finding a TE was tiresome, but not impossible. They tried to jack up the price on me in Slidell, LA. I laughed at the dealer and kept looking. About two weeks later I found a dealer in Alabama that was willing to work with me and got a great deal. Rare, NO! Hard to find, maybe. Seen one on the way to Texas. The idiot turned it into a low rider.
