I have to wonder, as I'm shopping right now....
If you can buy at Invoice, [regardless of trim level]
is that a good price?
Was told today by the Costco dealership today that their pricing is $500 over invoice but 'better deals can be had'. This was after I applied for Costco pricing in St. Louis.
so...
What should be a 'target' price relative to invoice or msrp?
Thanks,
Just went to the dealer yesterday and allocated a blue sr5 4x4 base model. Only 1 coming to the gulf states next week but getting the next round in late April. Even then, only a handful of blue 4x4s coming in. Did all me negotiating via email and finally met the dealer yesterday.
So we're at 33,9 +TTL. 37k OTD. debating whether to have distribution in Houston install TRD rims for extra 954 and dealership would add ko2 but no quote yet. Then all there is left to do for me is install TRD grill and plastidip emblems. Then I'm done...maybe.
How's that sound to y'all?
2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4 with 3rd row around 35k OTD MGM I don't really remember anymore. So far happy with it, its been off road climbed some pretty narly trails on a mountain in Arizona. I wanted the trail or the TRD pro but I just had to have the 3rd row.... Since then I've upgraded it with Bilstein 6112/5160; 2"ICON rear coils; TRD Pro rims; BFG 285's. I was able to negotiate the invoice to 32,500 before TTL. Hope this helps other lurkers as a starting point.
It's been....interesting to say the least looking for a 4runner in bay area california.
I keep seeing people in other states get great deals, so it's really frustrating to see that dealers here won't allow you to option these trucks out how you want even when "ordering" them. It makes no sense.
I'm looking for:
Super White SR5 w/ cargo cover and cargo mat
Apparently, every dealer in the area has ordered 4runners with the "useless to me" 3rd row seats. I'd rather have the space. Even when i order one from toyota they wont allow me to order without the damn seats.
I feel like Toyota is doing themselves a huge disservice by doing this to customers.
The best deal i have been able to scrounge up was:
super white sr5 w/ third row seat, floor mat, cargo cover, trunk mat
35,400 plus tax about 39k out the door
Seems like our friends in other states are getting deals $2000 less for cars without that third row.
Beans...
