How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Very interesting! Man I'm on the fence so hard right now. I have a Tacoma TRD pro on order right now, but I'm having a hard time deciding between that and a cement 17 4Runner Pro! I like both vehicles about the same, I just wish the r4runner TRD pro came with leather seats rather than softex, and a few other minor interior things I prefer on the Taco. Another drawback is that my dealer said that the 4Rs probably won't be available until like March?! Man that would be a heck of a nightmarishly long wait! I wish Toyota would release some official info about the 17 4RTRDP so I could make up my mind!

Maybe your dealer is telling you the 4Runner won't be available until March so you buy the Tacoma now? ;-) I don't trust any of them. Get what you want, it sounds like you are more happy with the Tacoma? Or you can try to wait for December and see! I'm hoping we'll find out more in September, so I can decide on the 2016 or the 2017 before the 2016 is totally gone.

I am in no hurry, I still love my 2004 4Runner, but would like a new one before September of 2017. I also really suck at waiting, but I also hate buyer's remorse! ;-) If they come out in December I'm sure I'll have one in January.

I am realistically hoping for December, it's just around the corner! I'd really love the turn signals on the mirrors and maybe some added safety features. Maybe and updated computer too? Maybe sonar standard too, or maybe push button start? I don't know, but I'd rather pay more to wait then get something and regret waiting! ;-) I have always decided to buy a car during the current model year, so this is my first time waiting! (first car bought in 1986! I'm old! haha!)

I did have to buy all new tires and have both front axles replaced in the last 10 months, so that's another reason not to be in a hurry. I love my 2004 SR5 though, I will be sad to let it go!

Just picked up a new TRDPro in MG from Tustin Toyota. The car belongs to the Mrs. She really wanted this rig, we test drove 7 different vehicles and she liked this one the most. MSRP was $43,199, which included the tablet holder (which we didn't want), and they made us purchase Perma Plating so $44,494.00 before Tax and tags.

We're happy with the vehicle even though we couldn't get a discount on it b/c it was a Pro.

I'll give you $50 shipped for that tablet holder. LOL. My 9yo will love you.

I'm up in the Seattle area, and I'm getting a Super White TEP w/KDSS for $39,889 plus discounted accessories. Adding: Package 1, Exhaust Tip, Remote Engine Starter, Cargo Cover, and Hood Protector. Total is $41,068. MSRP $42,604. Trading in a 2013 Honda Civic Si sedan with ~63k miles for $14,500. I feel like I did well.

Went in to sign paperwork and they totally went back on the deal. Came at me with just under MSRP with $3k less for my trade. I was PISSED. 4 hours later, we settled on $39,925 ($36 more than the price they were supposed to match) for the truck and $549 (instead of $307) for the running boards (they had to be purchased and installed by the dealer ($399 MSRP + $150 labor). Cost on everything else, and $14,500 on the trade, or about $1000 over KBB (considering it needs new tires, 60k service, maybe brakes, and a serious detail). Total before +++ was $41,346. They tarnished their own reputation (with me, anyway) over a few hundred bucks. Such a disappointment. Literally ruined my experience.

Getting it this week. Hopefully, the new TRD Pro wheels, wrapping the bumper garnish black, and LED lighting mods will get me over it.

If my dealer tries to pull this shit on me once my order comes in I will walk out without looking back.. and they will only get me to turn around if they lower the price beyond our originally agreed upon number.

I kept the truck and am on the fence about selling it. As it stands it won't be seeing much road time now that I have the new Runner.

So my sales person called me this morning. I placed my $500 deposit on a white 2016 TEP + KDSS + RC last Monday. He's telling me it will be in first of September. I'm quite surprised actually. This was an order not an allocate so they must have caught one inbound is my guess?

Another salesman at another dealership in Houston was trying to convince me the same vehicle would cost me 44000$!!

My thoughts - I got a copy of the actual invoice price, did some calculations, and I believe a fair price is 32,500 OTD - is this too much to ask for?

That was my problem in the negotiations. Super high demand, and they were not afraid at all to let me walk. They did. I went back to them after a few days and not finding what I was looking for anywhere close.

Sounds pretty good to me. Consider resale before getting a 4x2.
