When I lived in TX it was something like $62/year plus inspections when they were due. It wasn't bad at all. MUCH better than the ridiculous amounts I paid in CA.
How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

First Post! Closed a deal on my FIRST T4R. '14 SR5 4x4 with 16k miles, fully loaded with options except sunroof and heated seats for 32k! (Didn't really need 3rd row seating- but hey, it's a perk) Guy on the lease brought it in to dealer 1 week ago and barely drove it. Original MSRP was $37,5k Brand spankin' new... hope I made the right decision, but happy to be apart of the fam! Came from a '10 Wrangler Unlimited.... ****Now where to buy BFG Ko2s with black letter sidewall, online!!?!?****

I just agreed to $37,979 for a 2016 Trail Premium with KDSS. Due to be built on November 30th. Flying to Chicago to pick it up. This will be the 4th vehicle I have purchased in Chicago and my second 4Runner Trail. Much better prices than Detroit area.

Purchase plus taxes and fees. MSRP was $30,995. Found it while doing my daily search... it was at this particular dealer for 6 days. And No way! I probably should've thought that out more... totally forgot you can mount them with the white letters facing inside....
2016 gray SR5 4wd. 3rd row, premium audio, carpet mats. $37.7k sticker, paid $35.5k plus tax. Got $5k for a trade worth maybe $3k and got them to throw in a set of factory all weather floor liners. No fantastic local deals to be had around here on a stripped down SR5 with a 3rd row. Enormous local hail storm has everybody upgrading and these things are only on the lot for about a week.

Bought a 2016 Limited Blizzard White yesterday. Sticker was a little over $45K. I got it for $40k plus tax and tags. I think I got a good deal.

Not new. Bought a CPO 2015 TRD Pro in Inferno. $32k plus tax.
Downside is that it's got 77k on the clock. Which, coming from a 4th Gen with 228k, doesn't bother me whatsoever.
Just so I'm still a little on-topic:
I was 50/50 between new and CPO, but getting a TRDP at this price in Inferno (my preferred color), being CPO, made the decision easy.

2016 Trail Edition Premium, Metallic Grey. No other options. $37,365 + TTL = 40,129.09 drive out, delivery last week. Sterling McCall in Houston. Basically willing to give me the $792 "Base Vehicle Holdback" on their Vehicle Inquiry print out. This vehicle configured in the online web build showed a MSRP of $39,840 for my region. So approx 7% off MSRP. There were no special financing or programs available through Toyota for this vehicle at the time of purchase, and the dealer financing office was quite unresponsive. Got 3% "good customer/credit" money at Wells Fargo.
My salesman Bert Mann was great. As little BS as the regime lets him get away with. He was able to find this model/color on inbound ship and get all "port" installed options deleted. I had to wait a couple of weeks. If you want to buy a T4R in Houston, ask for him. Be patient, it pays.

I had a 15 Acura TLX that I traded in for a 16 super-white TEP. The sunroof was an absolutely must for me, ever since I was a kid. :shrug: Anyways, we agreed on $40K as the selling price (I took a small hit for my Acura) and it came with KDSS. I was impartial to the KDSS but absolutely fell in love with it in the short 2.5 weeks that I owned it. Here in SoCal the super-white TEP are unicorns - they are real hard to come by. Plus, I was hunting this combo down for over 6 months. All in all, I felt that the price was fair.
