How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I have been in the market for a few months and looking at prices and the different trims. I noticed that a lot of people on here are not buying the predator packages. Is that just because of preference or is there something with those packages (overpriced?) I am not aware of? Also, is there a big difference with the SRD Premium and TRD ORP without KDSS?

The vehicle is for my wife and she is just going to drive it on the road. She likes the look of the predator package especially in red. So I am debating which trim to get. Just wondering if the ORP is worth it more for my situation.

The big differences are the Off Road having Hill Start Assist Control, Multi-terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Locking Rear Differential. You probably wont need those if you are staying on road.

Predator package isn't available in all areas and it's easy to apply the appearance items yourself, the Predator Steps are more visual than functional(off-road).

Tires $800-900
Predator Pro Step Bar $649
TRD Pro Grille $600 approx

If you did it yourself you could also sell the wheels and tires to make a little back, but buying it for around 3299 isn't terrible if you don't want to do it yourself, I wouldn't pay more though for that package.

I really wish I was.... was driving it to work, oil pressure low light came on and the engine started sounding rough between 1500-2000 RPM. Had it flat bedded to the dealership and the tech said engine replacement as soon as he pulled the oil drain plug and saw all the metallic flakes coming out.

Just pulled the trigger on a Voodoo Blue TRD Pro. Sticker was $48778 with the all weather mat package and the $599 running boards. Don’t care for the running boards but they were on there so, what am I gonna do? Perhaps I’ll try to sell them. Worked a deal for $45,000. They tried to sneak in the $199 window etching scam. I told them I wasn’t paying for that so they dropped the price of the Pro to $44801. I traded in my 2018 TRD off road premium with 32,000 miles. They gave me $31,000, which is right in line with KBB trade value for a vehicle in excellent condition. I paid $37,300 when I bought it so I think it’s an awesome trade value for having driven it for just under two years and 32,000 miles. Picking it up on Thursday morning. I’ll post pics.

Well color me surprised. We test drove a 2019 ORP last week as a replacement for the wife's 2018 F-150. I know how these things are built but she wanted to see for herself. Well she was way into it.

That said check local Costco programs. First dealer I reached out to offered $6800 off a 2019 ORP w/ Moon no KDSS so MSRP $42,020, Before taxes but including D&H $34.9K I about Shite myself.

Now as long as they don't dork me around on the trade aka they are w/in a grand of what I want for the pick-up, we will be getting a Nautical Blue ORP w/ Moon.

Doh! I should've calculated the percentage off of MSRP. LOL! $6,800 off based on an MSRP of $42,020 is nearly 16.5% off of MSRP! That's a great deal!
