How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Had a dealer with a 2019 TRD off-road, non-KDSS, with an msrp of $40,500 that wanted $37,900 and offered me only $25,500 for my clean '15 SR5 w/33k miles on it and they wouldn't negotiate on either end. I ended up walking and it's a shame because they are the only one in the hundred mile radius that has the color I want and they have 3 of them, a total of about 9 or so 4Runners still on the lot so I guess a lot of people are aren't buying. Didn't think that was a great deal, what do you think? At this rate I may wait for the 2020s and gain Android auto.

Plus they gave me $2000 for my 2003 4Runner Limited with 255k miles, no AC, oil leak, trans leak and catalytic converters that needed replacing.

Wilde Toyota sells more vehicles than anyone in the Midwest. That's why they can be flexible with pricing.

Since the 2020s are out now I suspect prices on the 2019s will drop even more until they are liquidated.

2020s will not be flexible in price for quite awhile.

Hey Snowpeak - that looks very reasonable. Right at 7% off MSRP and I would probably be ok with that price. On the previous page of this thread someone in Portland had the following figures for a near identical setup, which was actually 8.6% off:

Maybe they can throw in some wheels or something, which is probably what I would ask for at that price. I would ask for TRD Pro wheels, and just go with the stock tires and get them replaced sometime down the line.

That was from Lithia Toyota of Springfield. They're another hour or so south of Portland. I've had dealers down there beat Seattle area prices by 1-3k depending on trim. Just never pulled the trigger.

I was quoted 2,695 for platinum (7yr/100k miles) but worked them down to 1,795. The nice lady in the finance office showed me the price sheet confirming 2,695, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a fake document! Stealership!

I also swindled the finance office (truthful tactics I mean) to a much better price on the platinum warranty ($900 off) and an additional 0.6% off the loan APR.

I paid about 46,000 OTD.

Go out of state. Maybe North Carolina.
Dealer fees are crazy is SFLA.
Shop some deals and bring a price in from up North.

I did that last year when I bought my Tundra TRD PRO.

NC dealer but SC taxes so that helps big time with negotiatong OTD. Had to work hard for it though but it was a perfect set up and exactly what I wanted, silver, no running boards, no led fog lights, plus no one tried it before me. First 4runner and truck/suv

You can get the warranty much cheaper from the dealer on here. I got my 10 year 100k for $1300 Platinum 0 deduct.
