How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

There are a couple local dealers to me (Raleigh area) that have what I'm looking for: 2019 TRD OR Premium in White or Magnetic with KDSS and no cargo tray. The 2020s are starting to be equal in number in their inventory so I'm hoping they are eager to move the remaining 19s. I lowballed an offer this morning of $34,600 before TTL with Toyota 0.9/60 financing and $10k cash down. Doubt they will go for it but I figure I'll try a couple dealers and if its no then I'll wait until closer to the end of the month and try again. If they still don't go for it I'll just keep driving my wife's old 2008 Highlander with 195,000 miles...

Good morning, been trolling this site for awhile now and finally joined after purchasing my first 4Runner about 2 months ago. I paid $46k OTD for my Voodoo Blue (new) after waiting 6 months for it to be built and shipped from Japan. If I had to paid the silly California mark up price on these Pro trucks I would've opted for a ORP.

Got this one today (2020), not raining (sale pic), with my daughter. Didn't need it, don't deserve it, stuff I can't say in the forum, etc.
And to quote Willy Nelson...can't say that either.
Paid $41,900. ORP with M/R and nothing else. Had to go through 3 guys before I found someone decent to deal with, but it was basically painless. Now if I survive my surgery in a couple weeks, I got plenty of cash to modify the sucker. Red truck was on my bucket list. I know, TMI. Be well all. Don't wait...for anything! Cheers, Greg

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you go about getting this price on a pro ? I’m in California and will be looking at buying a pro sometime early next year

2020 ORP with KDSS with not much else but all weather mats and cargo tray.
MSRP was $45.5 got her at $42.5 before tax/license
Added the 125k / 7 year warranty for $1,300 which was $100 over cost.

Picked up our 2020 SR5P yesterday. Sticker was $43984 we got it for $41881 + TTL. Pretty happy with that as in the tri-state area(Oh, Wv, Pa) the 2020's have not shown up as quickly as I would have hoped. In fact this was the only one equipped exactly how I wanted it....plenty of 2020 Limiteds though for some reason.
I'm inbetween a 2019 and 2020. Right now, leaning toward a 2020. Here are the quotes I got through the Costco auto buying program.

They couldn't give me any 2020 OR pricing, as they have to have this on their lot. I'm leaning toward a 20, mainly for the tech upgrade. I know. The entertainment upgrade can be had aftermarket without picking up the most likely turned off safety features. But for the first update in such a long time and for not loving aftermarket stereo solutions I'd pay for it to be OEM. I feel like it would be a smarter long term buy for resale value.
What would you all do?

Need Help: ORP Search in Denver

I’ve been lurking on this forum for the last 6 months and now I’m ready to pull the trigger on a new 4Runner. I currently have an 2001 Limited with about $185k miles on it. I love it but the work it needs is starting to pile up so I think it’s time to upgrade to the 5th Gen.
I live in Denver and I’ve seen a lot of posts on her from other Denver members. Today I went to Mountain State Toyota, Auto Nation Toyota and Stevenson Toyota East. Ultimately I’m looking to get a White ORP with KDSS. Seems like finding the setup I want is tougher than I thought. MST has several 2019 with these specs but didn’t seem to want to negotiate much on price. There best offer was as follows. They did try to offer a little more on the trade when i started to walk away:
White ORP with Sunroof & KDSS.
MSRP: $43365
Sonic Price after discount: $39,781
Trade Allowance $1750
Taxes: $3160
Filing fee: $37.20
Total OTD offer: $41,228
Thoughts on this price? Seems like I’m seeing way better deals on here by other members. But 4runners are in high demand in Colorado’s maybe that’s why deals are tough around here?
Auto Nation and Stevenson had horrible sales people. They had no clue about KDSS and thanks to this forum I felt 100x more knowledgeable than everyone helping me. Ultimately they just tried to push me into any ORP on the lot.
Last part of my long post...I’m a costco member and have seen some posts about Costco deals. Are these sets prices negotiated already by Costco? Any tips on using them to get the specs I’m looking for?

Yeah I’m in the same boat as some trying to decide to move up. It don’t pay me to move up to a 2020 Pro because of what they are asking.

I'd say keep the 2017. You only have 12k miles on it, so it doesn't sound like you drive it much and probably wouldn't benefit from the Fox suspension over the Bilstein. You could easily upgrade your own sound system and suspension, the only real consideration is, how much is a sunroof worth to you? Not to mention the ugly FJ rack on the newer 4Rs.
Thank for the input!! But then I think about those things. I have had a lot of audio systems in my car over the years. I have a audio guy owns his own store. Been dealing with him for years. It would be cheaper to get the jbl system then upgrading mine. I don’t want to change the suspension out because of voiding my warranty. That is why I went with the Pro. Leaving it stock. I do agree I don’t like the roof rack and not a big deal for the sunroof. The wife thinks I should keep mine. Back to it again. Tough decision. For the amount of money I need to put out that is what is weighing on me. If I had to put a lot more out it would definitely be a no.
