I just picked up a 2019 TRD ORP with KDSS for 36k out the door. Its magnetic gray, the deal also gave me both the all weather and carpet mats for free. Toyota of Seattle.
How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Working with a dealer to "Order" a 2020 TRD ORP
So I can pretty much hold out for any set of options since I have time. What options are must have worth it?
We do family trips a lot so the extra two 2.5A USB charger option is a good value to me at $129. I think I want KDSS. I waffled on it this week but I think I want it.
I don't want a sunroof. I plan to put a full rack up top one day and the sunroof would be useless. I never use them anyway. Are the clear paint protection packages worth it?

Apple and google have auto loan apps that will tell you your payment. If input correctly will place you within dollars of your payment.
Speaking of dollars! Illinois folks! Jan 1st 2020 trade in tax is capped at 10k. If your gonna roll a vehicle you'll save by doing before then!

I simply do not understand this! Why, on God’s green earth, would a state that has already destroyed business prosperity continue to do things that drives the state directly into the ground? I’m sure Illinois dealers are none too pleased out about this. No question this will drive down sales, and as a result, less tax revenue for the state. Good grief! Talk about the definition of insanity! The state of Illinois is nuts!

That's a killer deal. I'm in Florida and the best deal I been getting is above $40k and that's without KDSS.

Has anyone noticed any trends the last few years in terms of incentives or financing promotions for new model for runners in the winter and spring? There’s currently a decent financing promotion in place 3.19% up to 63 months and then 3.69% of the 75 months. I would love to see the 0/0.9/1.9% to 72 that they’re currently offering on the 2019 models.

Finally went and test drove a Pro this morning. Local dealer has it 'no haggle' priced at $45,258 + TTL which I think is probably a solid deal, but after sitting in a 2020 ORP, I can't justify NOT having the upgraded infotainment set up especially after using Carplay daily in my Silverado for the past couple of years.
Regardless, what do y'all think? ~$45K a solid price on a new pro?

If its a 20 yes. Best I've seen is 48 and typically* that means it "just sold" when you get there. Pros are selling msrp all day long at 50k, many are paying 5 to 10 k over

I just bought a leftover ‘19 pro, $4600 off msrp. Sub 4% apr which I plan to refinance with my local CU in a few months for a better rate. 46,000 otd.
Not sold on the ‘20 tbh. The little gremlins some people are talking about seem like a pain.
Navy Federal has the same. I’m just trying to hold off as long as possible since I have no car payment right now. Actually worse than that I paid off my lease early. I would literally be sitting money on fire if I turn the lease in early. Holding out for a great rate it’s just an excuse not do something stupid.

I'd probably pull the trigger on a 20 at 48K, best I've found is about 750 off of MSRP.
The search continues.
Also, there are a TON of Army Greens in MD and surrounding states, same can't be said for the other colors.

In order to get information about pricing that is actually useful, it would be nice if we had the following:
MSRP
Negotiated price
Dealer fees (doc fees incl other dealer junk fees)
Also of interest, because it could impact the above negotiated price
Trade in Yes/No and if you got better/worse than you expected
Dealer financing yes/no and what rate (if dealer financed
Of general interest, but of no real use is the Out-the-door (OTD) price. This includes all dealer fees plus government fees and taxes
The OTD means nothing because each state (and often each county or locality) has different taxes, title fees and so forth. Some states have "personal property tax" in addition to sales tax that is collected at the time of sale. Some states charge tax only on the difference in value between the new car and the trade.
The trade info is important because that may may influence the new car discount. They may screw you on the trade, but give you a better "discount" on the new car. Or, they may give you a smaller discount but give you more for your trade because you looked like you expected a lot for your trade.
Since dealer financing is a profit center, dealers will often give bigger discounts if you take their financing - they get the profit up front as a kickback from the lender.

My price would be $42,355 = $41,294 match includes the KDSS, moon roof, mudflap, all weather mats and cargo tray. Add $1061 in Dealer installed options of predator steps, wheel locks, cargo shades and cross bar roof rack.
Then add the $179.81 doc fee, plates $276 and 7% tax.
I live in IL and be willing to go out of state. Any recommendations?
