How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Hello!!! Where please? Looking to buy one today!

This was an AZ, should have put a '*' to clarify

Part of the reason it was such a great deal is because the service manager had 'borrowed' it for a couple weeks and it had 2k miles. No big deal though, ripped his golf clubs out and sent it to detail, worth the savings to me.

I negotiated a 2020 TRD Pro in Army Green for $49,750 + $399 doc fee + TTL. MSRP is $51,663. I am going to pass on it. Anybody interested in it? It's located in Ohio. PM me if so.

2019/2020 t4r orp

Hi Guys! With the 2021 models coming out at the end of this year, will that somehow have an impact on driving prices down for 2019/2020 models?

I wouldn't count on it. There is a shortage of used cars (inventory in general) right now which is affecting values across the board. Prices are going up based on the appraisals and offers some of us have been tracking over the last month.

As an example, the 2019 TRD Pro I bought in October was appraising for 40k earlier in the year. Two weeks ago, $43k. Today, I received an offer from Vroom for $45k and change. Carvana was $44.4k. remember these are guaranteed offers, with no effort and no dealing with the general public. Just have to accept one of them. Wholesale is now worth more than what I paid for the car before TTL which makes it hard to keep declining the offers. Question is, what to replace the 4r with?

So in short, if you get a good quote on a new 2020, might be worth jumping on it.

Yup, the Covid factory shutdown is definitely affecting supply. When I bought mine back in April, the dealership had ~15 4Rs in the lot, now they have none. Looking at some of the other dealerships, a high volume one that used to have ~80 back in May now has 10. Another one that used to have ~20 now has 3.

In the Greater NY Region today there were 330 4Runners and in New England regions there are 184. There are 448 in the Central Atlantic region.

There are a lot of 4Runners available.

New England Region -- Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island

Greater New York Region -- New York, New Jersey, Connecticut

Central Atlantic Region -- Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia

$45k out the door for a '20 ORP with KDSS and moonroof. 5% discount off MSRP before the rebate. No idea if that was a good deal or not.

PSA, check your tire pressure if you get a new one from the port/factory. My tires were at 54 PSI, drove them 300 miles home before checking :nono:

Used market is hot!!! After I read your post I went to carvana and got a $34,300 offer on our '18 SR5P with 30k on it. We paid $35k for it almost 2 years ago! I might look into a new TRDORP if I can get 10% off or more. Thanks

Hi everyone - new to the 4Runner world. Just picked up a 20 TRD Pro with just 3 options: Cargo Deck, Running Boards, and Door edge guards. Went with Brewer outside of Pitt. They threw in the rear black logo kit on the deal. 5.3% off MSRP. Really easy transaction.

We went looking for a new ORP today and stumbled on a 2018 cavalry blue pro sitting in the back lot fresh off trade. 17k miles and in perfect condition. After talking them down $400 (they know what they have apparently), we agreed on $42,600 +++. Thoughts? We absolutely love the color and know it'll hold it's value nicely, but it's still tough to think about dropping $45k OTD on a used 4runner.

That seems a little high to me. Does it have KDSS or any other optional equipment packages?

I’m in a funny spot between just waiting until the 2021s come out or getting this 2020 4R.

2020 4Runner ORP in White with KDSS, moonroof, all weather floor liners, blackout emblems, TRD wheels, and roof cross track bars for $42.5k before TTL (MSRP $46.9k)

This offer isn’t official and I think I may be able to get the price to $42k OTD before TTL. I’ve seen some better deals on this thread but I’ve heard the supply has been messed up so there aren’t too many ORP w/ KDSS within 500 miles of me.

I don’t need a car right now but I also don’t know if waiting for the 21s is worth it versus installing AlphaRex’s into the 20. Decisions decisions decisions.

I think it's a good deal. A few weeks ago I just picked up a 2020 ORP with kdss, moonroof for 42.3 before TTL. Stock rims and no roof bars.

Inventory is low and 2021s may be delayed the rest of the year.

Thanks for your input! Even IF there are better deals in a few months by a few hundred dollars, I value having the car now more than that.

Enjoy your car!

The car market is crazy right now. I bought my 19 ORP with a few add ons (rubber mats, cargo cover, etc) for $36.5K OTD with 3mi on the ODO last October. I was recently offered $40K by a dealership that cold called. Had I not liked it so much, I probably would've said OK. However, after going offroad a few times and making a couple of trips in it, it is most definitely not for sale.
