you live in Mass so I think your price should be higher to help pay for ObamaCare
My husband and I were looking for a used 2019-2020 Limited Nightshade and came out with a brand new 2021 SR5 Premium. I figured I could let go of all the frills and go for a brand new car for the price we were looking at for a used Limited. I think we made the right decision!
Here's the breakdown:
MSRP: $43,500 (3rd row because kids, moonroof)
Added: +All weather Mats +Blackout Badges +Crossbars
OTD with WA Sales Tax (10%) $40k
I was lurking on the forum to help on how to negotiate and I think it helped! Thanks you guys and hopefully we did well on the price.
Watch out PNW, the soccer mom is coming!
Is 38,750 before taxes and fees in GA for a 21' ORP with moonroof/sliding cargo deck a good price?
For those of you who are using Toyota or Dealer-arranged financing, what kind of interest rates and term lengths have they been offering given the current state of things?
I've looked at what offers Toyota is making online (currently 2.9% for 60 months), and I know these things are highly individualized and can vary substantially with respect to credit scores, income, etc, but I am curious what the current ballpark is for what folks are *actually* getting.
Because this thread was so helpful during my hunt for the right 4runner, I thought I'd pass the details of my purchase along: '21 ORP with KDSS and moon roof, MSRP $45,800, out the door for $41,675 plus a $120 doc fee. Located in the Pacific Northwest.
Can you help me with the dealership you worked with to get this? Exactly the configuration I’m trying to get. Would you be open to sharing your financing rate/months as well?

I bought a 17 Limited about a year ago. Got a vehicle loan from a local credit union: 5yr @ 1.9% (excellent credit obv) Not sure this helps your comparison of new vehicles a year later, but it is what it is.
Sure, this was Toyota of Olympia, and they had a nearly identical one on the lot yesterday. Financing was a little strange. I have excellent (basically perfect) credit and the rate they quoted me through Toyota was much higher than I was expecting (around 4.5%) so I went with a different lender for sub 3% on a 5-year.
I have my own financing lined up currently that's better than Toyota's 2.9/60.I bought a 17 Limited about a year ago. Got a vehicle loan from a local credit union: 5yr @ 1.9% (excellent credit obv) Not sure this helps your comparison of new vehicles a year later, but it is what it is.
