How much it cost to lift 03 4runner 2wd

I want to lift my 03 4runner up about 3-4 ". Can you tell me how much you paid for yours?

2-3 inches of lift you can acheive for $300 to $1500 in parts. Search on Revtek, Daystar, Donahoe, Downey, SAW and OME to find more info.

$250 for my Daystar kit
Around $800 for my OME suspension (dont take my price as I ordered stuff I might not end up using)

Pending on your needs a spacer lift or a complete coil/shock combo will work. You can even go coil-overs which are the most expensive, but you can adjustthe front lift you desire.

Being 2wd your front weight is diferent, so OME and coil-overs will behave differently than on 4wd. Spacer should yield the same result for 4wd and 2wd.

Search around on those names as said above and you will find the info.

If your just lifting for looks like I did your best bet would be the simple spacer lift. I bet it's the same for both 2 or 4wd. Around 300 bucks and you can do it in the driveway. Hardest part is compressing the springs. Great instructions here on this site. Not sure what a shop would charge but the norm is around a $100 and inch. But that all depends on the amount of time and the shop rate per hr.

If you want to slam around you front end I would go with the coil overs from Downey.

I'm sorry but I charge $1,000,000 (hard currency in USD) only

If you've done an oil change or even a tire rotation, you'll be able to do a lift install You just need some direction and guidance and you'll be fine.

If you have xreas, don't expect any shops to do the install for you. If you don't, then it'll be easier to install and that'll run you anywhere from 150-400 depending on where you want to take it.

If you have 4-6 hours on the weekend, just ask people for help and they'll come. Usually some lunch/dinner meal would suffice for most of the members here. I on the other hand want that million

Just pick the type of lift you want and go with it. If you need help on what kind, just give us the details on what kind of truck you have (i.e. xreas? airbags?) and then we'll hammer you with soo much information you'll scream! O btw, your budget on how much you want to spend will help too.

Cuz if not, the world is the limit and I"ll recommend some crazy lift setup that cost you well over 2500

You will probably know the good shops out there better than anybody. But obviously if you do it even better

You mean there are shops down here that'll do installs? I thought long and hard but I can't think of one shop that I would feel confident about doing the install even though it's a relatively easy install. I guess it's because for me I love doing it myself and knowing the satisfaction of being able to do something I thought was not possible

But back to the thread, if you do need a shop to do the install, I'm sure I can find some local ones (namely 1) that might be able to help you out. Not sure what kind of timeframe they'd have though since they're always busy but yeah I know one for sure

I could assist you but I'm abit on a time crunch w/ my own projects as well as only having 1 free weekend makes it very limited on how much I can work on my stuff. I know there are members here that'll be more than willing to help too so think about that one.

Heck I know Bulldog might even want to drive down to visit all of us here and help out too hehe.

Anyway, do some searching on this forum and other forums available and go from there. I know we'll all be able to give you some direction on what is recommended and not so good luck again

Yeah I'll help. WOnt charge for my time, but I'll charge $10 for every mile I have to drive (I'm like 400 miles away).
