How much?!!

when changing out those O2 sensors did anyone notice better performance or mpg's?

I didn't. Maybe my truck became slightly sluggish due to a dirty sensor and improper readings sent to ECU but not much change after fix. The truck went back to its proper parameters so maybe better MPG's. I guess the best part is this is gone:

I guess I don't like dealerships because they seem so condescending sometimes.
Also, my moms Sienna is actually in the shop right now because of a driver door recall.

They called her today and said she needs to come back to the dealership and drive her van from the maintenance department to the body shop. They said they cannot do it. MIND YOU!, the body shop is attached to the maintenance shop, but they are in seperate lots. I am assuming they are having her do this for liability reasons? But it's silly in my opinion. They also told her she has 130,000 miles on it and she is due for a WP, TB change. She said, "Just fix the door and we will worry about that later."

When we suggest preventative maintenance to our peers on T4R.org, we accept that suggestion and there is a 50/50 shot we will perform the repair. When a dealership suggests preventative maintenance, we lock up and assume they are nickel and diming us. Its the nature of the beast.

WOW:wow2: thats crazy, thats so asinine... if i was her id tell the dealer, "then you need to send someone out to pick me up and bring me back home, cause you have my only car, and i have no way of getting there. -i bet they would move it on their own. and then id call the general manager of the dealer and chew is as$ for that, and i wouldnt stop their, id call toyota usa corporate and tell them as well. thats just flipping ridiculous. its not a liability issue for the techs, thats why they have workers comp and insurance ect, but if your mom comes to the shop and drives her vehicle in a "known" state of "question" and something happens that dealer would be so F'd so fast it would be funny and i WOULD laugh, because it would have been 100% preventable by having a lot attendant or tech drive the vehicle.

sorry back to the originally scheduled program....
