How often do you go off-road?

If I were to give a percentage I would guess around 10%. Percentages will be worthless in this kind of poll though as some may drive much further for work skewing the result. In miles I would say I do at least 20 miles a month on forest service roads or trail riding.

Percentage of milage? Percentage of actual time? Percentage of days of week? Does deep snow count as offroad? I currently have 23K and have two more months until I reach one year of ownership. So, lets say 27K/year. 2,700 miles offroad in a year is a bunch. In mountain bike season I go offroad 5X/week or so but for short (1/2 mile or less) distances. We have lots of snow here and it gets deep so that counts for a little.
Compared to overall milage less than 5% of the time I am offroad.
Compared to actual hours and minutes same. Less than 5%.
Days of week offroad however is 5/7 or 71% of the partial days I am offroad.
Including snow my time in 4WD goes up to probably 5-10% of total miles.

100%. I live in New Jersey, work in Manhattan.
I don't believe either place has what qualify as roads.
You'll be in my neck of the woods. Be careful out there. For various reasons.

It's a mess out there. In the area of TN where we are building our farm has some bad areas as well. It looks like an intentional tire dump in certain places. Pretty sad.

, but if there were some legal ORV parks here in eastern Mass I'd definitely be there. We have lots of high tension electric lines but it's illegal to trespass on them and i don't need any hassles from the law. Anyone in the eastern Mass, southern NH area know of any places where it's cool to off road?

Since I am the only one that said forest service roads, I will take that as directed towards me. Not all of us are out rock crawling. Forest service roads and the trails coming off of them is not exactly on road, so stop being a douchebag :flipoff:
