Yeah I did the same, not sure why people are hesitant to snip the wire compared to unplugging it.

Much better with them off.

So what years have the box under the hood?

And it seems like everyone wants to disconnect the DRL's/.

I know '00 models have the box under the hood next to the battery. '01 & '02s have the box under the dash. Prior to '00, I don't know. Someone else will have to chime in here.


FWIW, I'm running a projector retrofit setup...so I def don't want my bulbs on during the day...

I just snipped the solid black wire with yellow stripe. It worked
