How to keep the radio on after removing the key?

Hey Guys,

I've read every single page of the manual twice, but still can't figure out how to keep the radio on momentarily even after removing the key from the ignition.

It seems to do it randomly, and when it does the interior lights flicker when a door is opened until the truck is locked.

Anyone know how to control this feature?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think it's a "feature" but rather a glitch some where.

My radio (on past and present Toyotas) goes off as soon as the key is turned to 'Lock'. If you can identify the wiring that provides power to the windows perhaps you can tap the radio power wire there with a diode in-line. IIRC, the windows retain power for about 42 seconds when the key is turned from 'On' to 'Acc', 'Lock' or removed.

There must be something wrong with my T4R then since the radio will sometimes stay on after the key is removed. I figured the flashing interior lights just served as notification of this, but it may speak to a bigger problem somewhere in the electical system.
