I am trying to install seat covers and I can't find out how to remove the plastic panels on the bottom of the seat. I posted before but didn't get any info on how to remove them. I looked in there and found one phillips screw (under on the inside) that looks like its hard to access.. just wanted to check in with someone who knows whats going on before I start unscrewing random screws. I really appreciate any help, I just need to put the bottom portion on :guitar3:

The bottom plastic parts around the seats are called "seat cushion shields" and there are about 20-30 steps on how to remove/install them in the manual. As mentioned it's all in the repair manual found in the stickies and far to hard too to explain without me re-writing the manual.
I don't think anybody has removed them just to install Wet Oklies however I've taken them apart to install new factory seat covers as well as several others for seat heater installs.Step 1 has always been ...take seat out of truck as it was kind of a pain even then to get those shields lined up and back on correctly.

Agreed. I forget why I took the driver's side off of mine (about a year or so ago) but it STILL isn't 100% correct and I gave up and just don't care anymore.
