How to retorque icon stage2?

I have had local place with really good rating install icon stage 2 kit on my 4runner for like $680. They are telling me I do not need to do any retorque on the kit. I called icon and they recommend doing it after 500 miles. After driving little bit I heard some metal grinding noise one time when I went over a half foot ditch. First of all do I need to do retorque after suspension kit install? If I do need them how do I do it? Is there any instructions on how to do it for icon stage 2? I do not need any special tools for this do I? Assuming torque wrench is good enough. I do not really know what bolt on what part should be what torque setting on the kit.

It is just good practice to periodically check any work that has been done on your truck. You should recheck your wheel lug torque a couple hundred miles after rotation why wouldn't you check your aftermarket suspension components?

Yes check torque on the bolts periodically. 500 miles is correct too. I've seen them all loosen up equally except for the rear shocks and front coilovers bottom bolt rarely.

Let me start off by saying nobody knows what the heck icon stage II is. Learn what the parts of your suspension are and go by that... I'll assume it is just a suspension lift (rear shocks + springs + front coil overs) + aftermarket UCAs.

It's always good practice to check your shock/coil over lower bolts every once in a blue moon. Plus the bolts on the rear LCA (both on the axle and frame side) those have a major tendency to loosen up . Use the repair manual (can be downloaded from the stickies) to get the torque specs. The UCAs rarely ever loosen up. I've had rear shock bolts and rear LCA bolts loosen up, but that is it. Use thread locker on them.
