how to update 2003 navigation

I did some searching but couldn't come up with the answer. Do you just get a disk and put it in? And what disk would upgrade it to the newest version. Or is it not possible to update it to be current?

But I believe that toyota's map is not as up to date as Garmin's.

Thank you very much. So I just have to look for toyota navigation disc 11.1 and it will be compatable???

You also need to make sure the disc you purchase is for the correct navigation system generation as well.

Thanks for that link, but now im a little confused. With that chart and the column on the right that says notes, is there not an update for the 2003 version?? Sorry, I just dont understand it.

The chart shows you your hardware generation and pre-installed disc. It also gives you release notes for the more current versions. Updates are available for all years to get to the current V11.1.
