We have an '02 SR5 Sport. We have the 3 knob HVAC control setup (fan speed , temperature selection, duct selection).
For a while now, when running the A/C, if you hit a big bump in the road, the A/C would start blowing hot air. You can get it to start blowing cold again by cycling the knob between hot and cold, which might take from one to who knows how many cycles to get it to switch back over.
Well today I figured out that I could tap on the temperature knob and make it switch from cold to hot, or from hot to cold regardless of where the knob was set.
Anyone else ever have this problem?
Could it be just a loose connection, or do I need a new switch?
Can I replace just the one switch or is this an entire unit? Part Number ?
Also, this dial does not light up at night.
