He could probably land a lightly used one around the same price - they do not hold their value very well. They also aren't very fuel efficient for someone traveling 100 miles per day though. For that I'd look at 10+ or older Vette.

^True dat. I own an '04 G35 coupe and it ain't the greatest as far as MPG goes. It's fast tho! :bowl:

I used to drive between Jacksonville (FL) and Charlotte or Orlando every week for business in my '08 350Z. It was a blast to drive and a good looking car... part of the reason I have my eye on a Q50.

I sold an 04 G35 coupe 6sp for my 4runner, I agree, its a blast to drive but the gas mileage isnt great with that much power on tap. I do miss it at times.

20k is where I would like to stay. I can go more but I'm not going to strap my self for a car right now. I'm rebuilding my credit right now after a soon to be divorce. The 370 is BA I would love to have one but I do have twins I need to drive around from time to time so that is a factor also. I would love to just think about an older WRX Wagon and just build it to a 600hp daily driver and make it a sleeper with car seats included lol...... I love a BA Subie....

What about a VW golf GTI or Golf-R? The gti is a nice car, it's got good pep, good gas mileage, and it's turbo charged.

That is a cool little car. I have only seen one before and I liked it. Looks like a lot of fun to drive just a major PIA to repair even with a family automotive shop. Is it 266 hp?

Yea I think the golf r is sitting in the high 200's. Its f'ing quick. I have a 2010 lancer evolution x. Me and my wife were road tripping from south carolina to north carolina amd lined up and went at it. Her golf r hung pretty well with the evo.
The gti is significantly cheaper and fwd. But for the extra money u pay on the golf r you can get another 300whp on the gti.

Feels just like your in an audi or bmw (at least in the golf r). Mine has the black leather seats anf power everything. Its like you're in an audiobooth. Zero road noise, totally solid.
