I cant make a decision!

Im twisted between if I wanna go with the toytec 3'' ultimate or just get spacers 3/2. Im planning to do the job with a buddy of mine that has experience with autos. I dont do any hardcore off roading at all. We have quads that we take to the bad spots but my minimal off road is getting to these spots to unload. I do like the idea of the toytec and better handling on road so thats what got me twisted. Spacers are the cheaper route so Id have more for wheels and tires. Need some help here guys!

I'd normally say "do it right the first time" and tell you to get the new shocks/springs or coilovers but it sounds like money is tight for you so....

I'd get a good set of 265 all terrain tires and wait a few months to get a a decent suspension lift when money isnt so tight. I think in the long run you'll be happy and doing it in this order will give you good traction with the new tires. My brother did it this way and went everywhere I did with no problems... after time he had enough money to purchase a new OME lift kit.

You'll be surprised where a 4th gen with a good set of tires can take you!

I got spacers and love it. But the wife wanted a factory ride...aka floaty like a cadillac. If you are ok stiffening things up a bit then a full swap is the way to go. I enjoy my spacers and the increased ground clearence with some tires has helped a bunch. But, it's up to you and your preferences. I think if you aren't off roading...spacers all the way. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input! Right now im leaning towards the spacers and then go full suspension down the road. That Toytec lift is nice though!

This. Unless you're wanting to change the ride up, this is the best option imo.

If you tow alot, you might look into new springs for the rear or airbags. Toytec's Superflex coils provide 2" of lift and can handle a bit more of a load than stock coils with spacers. And the ride quality pretty much stays the same as stock. Airbags would be a good choice with stock springs and a spacer lift. Good luck!

If i go with 3/2 cornfed will I need anything else? Diff drop? One thing I liked about the toytec ultimate is that everything was included. Im new to lifts and have been reading for weeks now but all the options drive me nuts! Might be a dumb question but are you guys putting spidertrax all the way around? I see they come with 2 per set. Just wanna make sure I do it th right way!

Posted earlier above by jason^, I do not recommend runing 265's with a 3" lift, you need to go 275-285. It will look funny, and be quite top heavy on that narrow of a tire. Your best bet is to just get the toytec 3/2" spacer/rear coil lift for the amount of offroading you want to do, and get a good set of tires that are of correct size and wheels of personal choice rather then sacrificing
